An aficionado of both modern and classical dance, Thomases created his Abstract Dance Group to communicate the shapes and flow of this art form. He captures the sense of motion and flotation. The four sculptures in this group are available in either high polish or a rich patina. On the first page is Dancer II, a piece which has received recognition from two sculpture magazines. Sundancer was inspired by one of Matisse’s bathers painted in blue.
